The title holds a lot of truth, Every single thing worth pursuing in this world requires some kind of discomfort to attain. Whether it’s a successful career, a loving relationship, or a healthy body, there is always a challenge to overcome. And yet, despite the discomfort, these things are what make life worth living.
The best example I can think of is from the movie Pursuit of Happiness. Go watch the movie if you haven’t. My all time favourites.
When it comes to achieving success, discomfort is an inevitable part of the process.
Whether it’s putting in long hours at work, facing rejection, or dealing with criticism, discomfort is an essential part of growing and improving. The key is to embrace the discomfort, to see it as a necessary step in the process of achieving your goals.
The most recent discomfort I have accepted is waking up early and going to gym. The results are awesome.
As you can see from the graph, I had to toil consistently for 2-3 months getting up at 4.30 am on weekdays to hit the gym.

The key is to embrace the discomfort, to see it as a sign that you are making progress. For me the progress was the weight loss.
Embrace the discomfort, see it as a necessary step in the process of achieving your goals, and remember that the end goal is worth it. By accepting the discomfort, we can move forward and make progress towards the things that truly matter in our lives.
