Last weekend, I had the chance to attend an amazing event for builders and entrepreneurs like myself. It was held at a resort called Hide n Teak Stay, and let me tell you, it was awesome. The best part was everyone sharing their experiences and insights, helping each other with their problems.
The journey started early on the 14th with breakfast on the highway. There’s something special about hitting the road early in the morning with a group of like-minded people. We chatted about our projects and shared our excitement for the days ahead.
By 1 PM, we reached the resort. The Hide n Teak Stay was everything we hoped for—peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for the meet-up. After a quick tour, we had a casual meet and greet. It was great to put faces to names and learn more about each other’s journeys.
We laughed, shared stories, and immediately felt like a tight-knit community.
Lunch was served a t around 3 PM, and the food was delicious. Over meals, conversations flowed freely about personal branding, LinkedIn growth, and other strategies that could help us in our ventures.
Ayush Garg led a fantastic session on X and LinkedIn growth, giving us practical tips on personal branding that we could implement right away. It was followed by a session on YouTube 101 by Vikash, which was enlightening for those of us looking to expand our presence on the platform.
The evening ended with dinner, where we continued our discussions and bonded over shared experiences. We were all exhausted but thrilled about the productive day we had.
Second day began with a hearty breakfast, setting the tone for another exciting day. One of the highlights was the “Behind the Business” session. Basically, it was a session where the founders of the community shared their stories and the learnings. It had Bhanu , Dheeraj ( from SiteGPT ) , Anurag (me 🤪), Priyanka (my wife 🤷🏻♂️) (from ProductLogz ), and Vikash. Hearing all the stories and the challenges they faced was both inspiring and motivating.
We had SaaS landing page roast sessions and played fun games to bond with each other. It was so amazing to spend the last weekend in the company of some of the smartest and kindest people I’ve ever met in life. By the end, it felt like two days was very short.
Lunch was followed by a session on Product Hunt launch strategies by Adithya, which provided invaluable insights. Gautham then led a small session on user and market research, emphasizing the importance of understanding our audience. We wrapped up the day with a group photo and some relaxed pool time, accompanied by snacks, tea, and coffee.
It was the perfect way to unwind and reflect on everything we had learned.
The final day, the 16th, was short but sweet. After breakfast, we had a brief checkout session. Saying goodbye was tough, but we left with new friendships, fresh ideas, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Thank you so much, Ayush, for arranging the meet. This trip was more than just an event; it was an experience that reminded me of the power of community and collaboration. I am really liking these retreats more. Already waiting for the next retreat in December!
